About

The Children's Museum of Northern Colorado Project was launched in 2015.  The project began as a belief among a group of community members that Northern Colorado was ready to sustain it's own children's museum.  The original idea was very small in scale, but with community input and continued learning, the vision for a regionally serving children's museum emerged.

In 2017, the Board of Directors contracted Lord Cultural Services to conduct a market study and assemble a business plan based on current and future market conditions in Northern Colorado.  In 2019, The Kellogg Group was hired to conduct a philanthropic feasibility study.  The results of these studies have shaped the scope of the project going forward.

The museum is currently enaged with Oz Architecture designing our campus on a site within Centerra (Loveland).  The location is easily accessible to all the communities of Northern Colorado.
